Since 2005, Aspen Falls has brought together designers, builders, craftspeople, and experienced field professionals to create landscapes that are thoughtful from concept through construction. Our team combines landscape architecture, planting design, construction knowledge, project management, fabrication, and hands-on experience, allowing each project to be considered from every angle.

Kyle Ash

Owner

Kyle’s passion for landscaping started early, sparked by a childhood bubble mower and a fascination with shaping outdoor spaces. A Front Range native, he began working in the industry at 13 and later expanded his experience into home framing and construction, giving him a deep understanding of both building and designing for Colorado’s unique climate. In 2005, he founded Aspen Falls, where he continues to lead with a hands-on approach, a commitment to quality, and a curiosity that keeps the company evolving.

Beccy McKenna

Controller

Becky has been a steady part of the Aspen Falls team since 2017, keeping the financial side of the business organized and moving. She manages the books, coordinates orders and invoices, and helps keep the countless behind-the-scenes details on track so the rest of the team can focus on the work ahead. Equal parts dependable and warm, Becky brings a bit of “office mom” energy to Aspen Falls, making sure the numbers balance, the lights stay on, and the team feels supported along the way.

Paul "Grandpa"

Operations

Paul has been part of the landscape industry since 1993, bringing decades of experience in logistics, equipment, and field support to the Aspen Falls team. With more than 7,000 hours operating loaders and over half a million miles in landscape deliveries, he keeps materials, equipment, and daily jobsite coordination moving smoothly behind the scenes. Before entering the landscape industry, Paul spent 15 years in aviation ground support, and his passion for aviation continues today.

Drew Stenger

Operations Manager

Drew has been part of the landscape industry since 2005, beginning his career as a laborer with a small family-run company before growing into a jobsite foreman. He joined Aspen Falls in 2017 as a project manager and now serves as Operations Manager, bringing years of field experience, leadership, and a deep passion for creating landscapes that are built to last. Outside of work, Drew enjoys camping, jet skiing, and four-wheeling with his wife, Raniece, and their dog, Fred. He brings that same energy and care to delivering exceptional service for every client.

Kim Wisdom

Landscape Architect

As a registered Landscape Architect, Kim works closely with clients to shape thoughtful, creative plans that reflect how they want to live in their landscape. She stays involved throughout the project, helping carry each vision from early ideas through completion with clarity, intention, and care. A Texas A&M University graduate, Kim brings more than 40 years of landscape design experience across Texas, Tennessee, and Colorado. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, camping, and biking with her family while exploring the beauty of Colorado.

Shelbe West

Landscape Designer

+ Marketing Strategist

Raised in the mountains of southern West Virginia, Shelbe earned her B.S. in Landscape Architecture from WVU, working across North Carolina, the Rocky Mountain, and the Southwest Regions. She blends planting design, technical knowledge, and visual communication with a client-centered approach, shaping naturalized, functional landscapes that feel intentional, resilient, and deeply connected to place. Guided by curiosity and collaboration, she loves bringing each client’s vision to life. She also serves as president of a nonprofit, the JSR Foundation, rooted in community and stewardship.

Frank Pendrell

Senior Landscape Designer

Frank combines more than 10 years of design-build experience with Master’s degrees in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Colorado to create landscapes that are both beautiful and functional. He is passionate about crafting unique outdoor environments that prioritize sustainability, creativity, and long-term usability. From initial concept to final construction, Frank values eco-friendly design, thoughtful problem solving, and building strong relationships with every client.
